Never forget that there are things in the first push of a thunderstorm that are dangerous to you hail, plow winds, and Wanderers. These spirits cross the plains with the weather fronts. Alexie Aaron is one of my favorite authors. She is focused and by that I mean, she never leaves a story line unfinished, or if she does it is deliberate and you know you'll find out more in a later novel. I especially love how her books (Kindle) are not so overpriced that we have to budget for them and she keeps her books coming with regularity. None of her 15 books have disappointed. All are capable of being read as stand alones and that is a mark of an excellent author. She writes with purpose and her story never lags. Mia and PEEPS are characters that are multifaceted and keep growing as Alexie Aaron continues to write this series. Her characters are depicted in a way that has me caring what happens to them and I look forward to finding out how they will develop in future books. We all have good and bad sides and Alexie is a master of pulling her audience in while showing us that each character is worth getting to know.As for the stories themselves, they are delicious with chills, thrills and a sense of family & friends that have bonded through thick and thin. Her sense of humor shines in her characters and as the story unfolds, you can feel the sense of "team" as they work together to help ghost(s) or rid a place from the paranormal evil that resides there. She weaves her ghostly tale in a way that keeps me wanting to read on to find out the why it's happening and to make sure Mia and the PEEPS are all right. This story was a little different, as in life, we have bumps that need to be smoothed, or we have to learn to move forward. Each character is carefully crafted, meaning they are definitely multidimensional. Everyone is so different, yet Alexie shows how they come together to work professionally and put aside any of their petty differences that could get in the way of getting the job done. I admire that.
This is book 15 in the series and in this book Mia and Ted have some life lessons to learn, while they figure out what is going on at the abandoned Mall. Not all the characters who are spiritually powerful are as 'good' as they would like you to believe. Alexie has driven that lesson home, for me! I highly recommend that you read all her books of the Haunted Series for a better understanding of the characters. Each story is a masterpiece in paranormal, life, love, humor and working together towards a common goal. I do look forward to her next book and will purchase it as soon as it becomes available.

I just can't get enough of the PEEPs series by Alexie Aaron. In this book things happen with Mia and Ted causing problems in their marriage. I totally didn't see that coming! We have a new and very interesting character named Sariel come on scene.
In this book the PEEPs team has an abandoned mall to investigate that houses more than just ghosts. It takes the whole team plus some to get through this major fiasco. The marital problems between Mia and Ted are causing much tension on the team. We see Mia's Aunt Beverley pop in unannounced to help Mia and find a way to make a few bucks for herself. The mean spirited Beth shows up to again do all she can to split Mia and Ted up for good and grab him for herself. Orion is a prominent figure in this story with new information about him coming to light. In a very surprising twist, Mike gets a much coveted chance with Mia, but you will have to read the book to find out how he handles it. I refuse to spoil any part of this story for you! All I can say is read it!!! If you haven't read any of the books in this series yet then start a the beginning with "the Haunting of Cold Creek Hollow". If you love a great ghost story coupled with a good dose of comedy you will love this series!
This is such a wonderful series, in April of this year I had not even heard of this author and now I have finished all of the series through 15 - including the short ones! I have also begun buying them on audible and just finished the first in that format. I am thrilled to say the reader does it justice. I can hardly wait for the next in the series and I don't think I have ever been so in love with a cast of characters before! Wonderful, heart warming, funny, sweet, sometimes sad, often touching, and of course tying it all together - spooky!! I would ask the author to hurry but I believe all of this series has been put out in just the last few years so the poor lady likely needs a break (don't get burned out Ms. Aaron - I hope for more Mia and gang for years to come). You won't be sorry if you start this series, but you might be sorry if you don't start it now ;)
When it's a witch tree. When PEEP's takes on a job of clearing the ghosts out of a defunct mall named The Two Tree Mall they've no idea that the twined trees are , really a witch tree. This tree is evil with a capital E. Years ago 7 teenagers, part of a high school glee club went missing one night in the mall. The next morning two of the teens were found dead, hanging from the twined tree in the center court of the mall. Soon after the mall went bankrupt and it has sat empty ever since. Now it's to be turned into a place for wounded veterans and their families, if the ghosts can be removed. That's a big if. As always the writing is outstanding, the characters are well developed and believable and the ongoing storyline just got more interesting. To find all the answers read this, the fifteenth book of the exciting Haunted Series. Highly recommended.
As with all of the books in this series. Never Forget did not disappoint. It was amazing. I have fallen so in love with all of the characters in this series. Alexis Aaron has an incredible style of writing and her ability to spin a tale never ceases to amaze me. What talent! What a mind! Once again I tried to pace myself so the book would last longer, but I just couldn't put it down. The characters are continually evolving and are so dear to my heart. Ted and Mia and their love are the cornerstones of the story for me. Well of course Murphy is too. I highly recommend all of Alexie Aarons books. She really is my favorite author of all time.
